Our Team

Dwayne Brown
Founder + Community Curator

For over four decades, Dwayne Brown has been more than just a corporate portrait photographer in Canada — he’s been a mentor and a connector, bringing people and ideas together. His passion for authentic imagery and his respect for the people in front of his lens inspired the creation of Authentica, a trusted network for dating profile photography.

Building on the success of the global photography community, Headshots Matter, Dwayne continues to champion photographers who value trust, care, and individuality — creating spaces where both clients and photographers can connect in a genuine and meaningful way.

A person stands on a beach holding a camera up to their face, taking a photo, with another camera hanging from their neck. They are dressed warmly with a scarf, sweater, and gloves, and the ocean and sky are in the background.

Jennifer Brown
Creative Partner + Special Projects

Jennifer Brown’s lifelong passion for the arts, combined with her background in museum technology and degrees in philosophy and English literature, gives her a unique perspective on both the creative and operational sides of Authentica. She is deeply committed to the authentic and honest approach at the heart of finding one’s love — ensuring that each photographer in the network captures images that truly reflect who someone is.

Blending analytical precision with empathetic insight, Jennifer helps guide the team in supporting members and growing a trusted, inclusive community where genuine connections can begin.

Jack Doré
Photographer Outreach + Growth

Jack supports Authentica’s outreach and early growth, helping the project expand city by city with care and consistency. He connects with photographers, pays attention to how they work with people, and helps build the kind of relationships this directory depends on.

He believes dating profile photography should feel natural and low-pressure—more like a calm conversation than a performance. His role is to help ensure the photographers who join Authentica share those same values: respect, patience, and authenticity.
